KTG becomes RAILPOOL Lokservice

Hamburg, Duisburg, 1 September 2026 – effective 1 September 2026, the workshop companies KTG GmbH (“KTG”) in Duisburg and RAILPOOL Lokservice GmbH & Co. KG (“RAILPOOL Lokservice”), with two locations in Hamburg, both part of the RAILPOOL Group, will be combined into one company. KTG will be merged into RAILPOOL Lokservice.

At the same time, we are preserving what makes our workshops successful today: their experience, expertise and local operations. Our focus is on developing the organisation further step by step.”

The managing directors of both companies will also remain in place and will now work together as one management team. Christoph Engel will primarily focus on the Hamburg locations, while Carsten Janneck will be responsible for the Duisburg location.

The business partners of both companies can continue to rely on their familiar local contacts.
