Michael Vogel, who joined RAILPOOL as Head of Operations in April 2022 being responsible for the large business area around locomotives in service, has been appointed as authorized company representative (“Prokurist”) with effect from August 1, 2022. He brings with him 23 years of professional experience in several roles in local public transport at Stadtwerke München, where he was most recently responsible for the Munich metro.

He then spent four years in the service of DB Regio AG in the positions of Head of Fleet Management and Plant Manager for the Munich S-Bahn, focusing on change management to manage structural and organizational changes to adapt vehicle maintenance concepts to the constantly growing passenger demand and customer expectations.

At RAILPOOL, he will also use his many years of experience to professionally lead the company through further growth together with his colleagues.
